Rylan Clark has been issued a demand by fans after dipping into the 'archives' after making a surprise career admission. Those who have followed the TV and radio star's career will know he shot to fame on The X Factor in 2012.

He ended up finishing the ITV singing competition, after THAT memorable crying scenes, in fifth place and soon his Big Brother opportunity came around again and he won Celebrity Big Brother 11 in 2013. Later that year, he presented Big Brother's Bit on the Side, This Morning and The Xtra Factor.

Since then his career has continued to go from strength to strength, taking on various TV presenting roles over the years as well as having his own BBC Radio 2 show, Rylan On Saturday.

But Rylan recently admitted that he's been secretly releasing music for other artists that has 'done well', but not under his own name. Speaking on the Table Manners podcast with Jessie Ware, he said: "I write music. So I've done quite a lot of songs."

He continued: "Some have been released, but not under 'Rylan' and they've done well, which is fun. I've released a couple of tracks, yeah, that have done well and I'm happy with."

When asked why he didn’t want to release under 'Rylan', or share who the songs were for, the 35-year-old said: "Honest truth, because I think where I started out on X Factor and... I had a very easy role to play on that show and that was to be the one that everyone talks about.

"My job wasn't to sing on X Factor. I think if Joe Public read tomorrow 'Rylan's bringing out a CD' people would go 'shut up' and it would already be prejudged."

Now, Rylan has given his fans the chance to listen to some of the music he has made in an Instagram post. He shared snippets of three different tracks with his 2.3 million followers. Captioning the post, he wrote: "From the archive - posted a while ago a clip of the first song I wrote and recorded, ‘Follow you’. Found 2 more, ‘Threw the love’ and a remix of ‘Dumb’."

Singer Pixie Lott was quick to respond to the post, exclaiming: "Rylan!!!!" alongside a string of flame emojis. B*Witched also commented on the post: "We need a video."

Meanwhile, Rylan's fans and followers were quick to make demands over Rylan's hidden music career. @charl0ttesayshi said: "Album please!!!" @sam.lxcker commented: "These need to be released onto streaming." @danalovesolly demanded: "RELEASE THEM."
