Rylan Clark-Neal And Husband Dan To Be First Gay Couple To Present This Morning

Rylan Clark-Neal is no stranger to presenting This Morning, having filled in for various presenters in their absence and regularly sharing the latest showbiz gossip in his own segment.

Now, it’s excitingly been revealed that Rylan and his husband, Dan Neal, are being lined-up to present the show together and make history, making them the first gay couple to host This Morning.

Their co-presenting gig comes after they previously worked together on an impressive interview with Christopher Cramp, the first person to have a Civil Partnership, for the show in 2015, which they conducted shortly after their wedding.

It’s thought that the couple’s debut at the helm of This Morning will be on Friday 8 July, while Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford are on holiday.

A source close to the show told The Mirror: “Rylan is hugely popular with the This Morning audience and working with Dan again will provide key chemistry a show like this requires with its hosts.”

Talking about working with Dan previously, Rylan said: “It was weird. We felt like Ruth and Eamonn. It was really strange.

“Obviously, me and Dan do a lot of work together away from TV on the development side, so we are used to doing stuff like that. But to do stuff on camera together was a little bit strange.

“But I really enjoyed doing it. It was really nice and it felt easy because it was something we both wanted to talk about".

Huge congratulations and good luck with joint hosting This Morning, Rylan and Dan!
