Rylan Clark-Neal praises Steps' Claire Richards for support during 'toughest time'
Rylan Clark-Neal has revealed that Steps star Claire Richards has been a bedrock of support for him during the "toughest time" of his life.
The TV presenter recently took some time out of the spotlight, revealing back in June that he was "seeking help" following the breakdown of his marriage to Dan Neal.
Appearing at the recent Attitude Awards, Rylan presented the Icon Award to Steps, sharing his personal connection to singer Claire on stage.

"On a personal level, one of the members of this band is like my big sister," he said.
"For the past four months, probably for the toughest time in my life, she's been there for me, and without her, I probably wouldn't be giving this award out tonight."
Rylan returned to Twitter and The One Show a few weeks ago, and is also back in tow on Strictly: It Takes Two – at one point very nearly suffering a social distancing blunder.
Speaking earlier this year on his marriage, Rylan said: "Following reports about Dan and I spending time apart, I feel I have to speak out — as the way it is being reported is unfair.
"I have made a number of mistakes which I deeply regret and have inevitably led to the breakdown of our marriage."
The star added: "I have taken time away from work as I am not in a good place at the moment and am seeking help.

"I am trying to take each day at a time and would like to say thank you to everyone for their support and for respecting our privacy at this time."
Meanwhile, Steps recently returned with their seventh album What the Future Holds Pt 2, which reached number two in the Official Albums Chart.
