Rylan Clark "praying" for mum Linda as she has surgery for "bad fall"
Rylan Clark has announced he is "praying" for his mum Linda as she undergoes surgery after suffering a bad fall whilst on holiday with her son.
The former Strictly It Takes Two host took to Twitter/X to share details of the accident and give a health update on his mum.
"So unfortunately I took my mum away on her first holiday in a good few years and sadly she's had quite a bad fall, resulting in her having to have surgery out here," began Rylan's statement.

"She's not in the best health with her other conditions and this has made it more complicated," he explained.
The TV personality added: "My priority at the moment is my mum."
He confirmed that as a result, he would be missing his BBC Radio 2 show on Saturday (September 2), thanking fellow DJ Scott Mills for stepping into his shoes.
"Cheers Scott for covering me at Radio 2 and thanks to the people out here that have sent their well wishes," he said.

Fans are already familiar with Rylan's mum Linda, who appears alongside her son on Celebrity Gogglebox.
In an episode broadcast in mid-July, fans were in fits of laughter watching the two's blunder whilst recreating the Mission: Impossible theme tune.
"Let's be honest, it's mostly about Linda and Rylan tonight! #CelebrityGogglebox #IDroppedOutOfYa," wrote one viewer on Twitter/X at the time.
In addition to the Channel 4 show, Linda also regularly calls her son for a catch-up on his BBC 2 radio show on Saturday afternoons.
She also famously featured in Rylan's Off Menu podcast episode, recorded in September 2022 with hosts James Acaster and Ed Gamble.
