Rylan Clark says mum 'happy to be home' after joining star on trip
Rylan Clark thrilled fans as he shared pictures from his trip with his mum. The BBC Radio 2 presenter regularly shares updates with his fans on social media including updates with his mum Linda Clark.
Linda has grown her own fan base through her appearances alongside Rylan on Celebrity Gogglebox and their phone exchanges aired on Radio 2. Rylan shared with fans in an Instagram post on January 10 that his mum had joined him as he spent a "few days working away".
The post included a series of snaps showing stunning sunsets and the mum and son together on their trip. He captioned the post: "Few days working away this week. Linda came along for the ride. Although she’s happy to be home for the “proper biscuits” and “real tea”."

Fans wished the family well after the update. One follower called Kathleen said: "Always take t bags on holiday, and a packet of biscuits." Another follower called Rebecca added: "As a mum, I love how you take care of yours."
As well as continuing to host his Saturday afternoon show at BBC Radio 2, Rylan has also appeared on BBC Two alongside Rob Rinder in their first ever travel series, hosted a new Paramount+ show, Dating Naked UK, and Amazon Prime reality series, Hot Mess Summer.
Rylan was also back fronting the coverage of Eurovision for Radio 2 alongside Scott Mills, interviewed pop divas Mariah Carey and Kylie Minogue, and rounded off the year by heading back into panto, where he played The Spirit of the Beans at Cliffs Pavilion.
But as 2024 came to an end, the 36-year-old didn't join in with the stream of social media posts showing highlights of the 12 months that had just passed. Across a black backdrop, Rylan typed: "2024. No pics, no vids, it was just a great one." And the update came as a relief to some, while his celeb pals were intrigued.
Rylan did later return with a post seemingly teasing he may have a lot planned for year ahead. Across another black backdrop, the former X Factor and Big Brother star wrote: "2025. Pending..." alongside the spinning circle when something is loading on your computer or phone.
