Rylan Clark was forced to cheekily tell his mum off after a blunder live on BBC Radio 2. The pair had recently enjoyed a trip away to Spain where Rylan's mum, Linda, feared they were going to be taken to a 'sex club'.

Linda has become a hit with listeners to Rylan’s Saturday afternoon show, sharing a glimpse into her life each week. She shared a hilarious moment from when the pair were out dining during their holiday during the show.

The duo were in a restaurant when they saw couples being ushered into a room draped in red and gold décor, The Mirror reports. Linda said: “You’ll have to tell Lottie [Uttley] when you’re off air about the red room.”

Rylan replied: “You can’t talk about that on air…. All I will say is we were in this restaurant and we kept seeing like, mainly couples in there, being walked into this room that looked very red. Then the door would shut, they’d be in there for about five minutes and then come out.

“Mum obviously thought it was like some sort of club.” Linda then said: “No, I thought it was a sex club.”

Rylan replied: “Mum! We’re on the radio mum.” Remembering the incident, Linda said: “Then they called the waitress and she came over and said ‘you will be going in soon’ so I went oh god. But weren’t it beautiful in there”

However, they soon discovered the room was simply where couples were heading to collect their desserts.
