Rylan declares 'love' for Rob Rinder as he pays tribute to 'brilliant' travel companion

Rylan Clark declared his 'love' for Rob Rinder as he praised his 'brilliant' travel companion after they filmed their latest project together. Earlier this year the pair filmed their first project together, Rob and Rylan's Grand Tour, in which fans got to see the dynamics of their friendship.

The series took the pair around Italy, taking in destinations such as Rome, Venice, and Florence. The show's success led to 36-year-old Rylan and Rob, 46, teaming up for a new series around India.

Now, having returned to the UK and his usual Radio 2 slot, Rylan has paid tribute to Rob. When asked about the trained barrister, he said: "Rob Rinder knows everything. Judge Rinder knows everything to the point where I'm like 'Rob, shut up, let the man tell us."

He added: "He's like 'oh, is it the Dharma?' and I'm like 'what's the Dharma?' He's brilliant. He's the best travel companion but how I didn't leave him there and not board the plane back I don't know." Traffic reporter Sally Boazman said: "You love him." To which Rylan replied: "No I do, he's brilliant. We had a great time."

During their time in Italy, Rob posted a picture of the pair, standing facing each other in the sun, on social media. He wrote: "Elton's set at Glastonbury has inspired us to tie the knot. I [heart] @Rylan." While fans were quick to congratulate the pair, Rylan shot down talk of wedding bells, commenting: "Fake news he's had a wine."

He has since said he "loves" rumours that the pair are involved in a romantic relationship. Speaking to the Express.co.uk, he said: "Me and Rob are like an old married couple but we don't have sex. We are a typical married couple!"

He added: "I love Rob. If you could marry your friends, I'd marry Rob because he is just the most wonderful man. If I ended up in a relationship with him I'd probably kill him in two days... not a good look, but I do love him."
