Rylan issues warning to fans as he defends I'm A Celeb's Tulisa
I'm A Celebrity's Tulisa has been supported by Rylan Clark after negative comments have been circulating about her appearance. The N-Dubz star is one of the celebrities competing to be crowned King or Queen of the jungle this year.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, the BBC Radio 2 host urged fans to stop making jokes about the appearance of the 36-year-old. He said: "Also before people start going for appearance, Tulisa has been through a lot health wise the last few years so let’s not make shit jokes about her on twitter yeah."
Tulisa has been open about her health battle as she suffers from Bell's palsy. According to the NHS, the condition is a temporary weakness or lack of movement that usually affects one side of the face.

The I'm A Celeb contestant claimed on Loose Women in 2020 that her condition stems from when she suffered nerve damage after a serious horse riding incident. The singer appeared on Olivia Attwood's So Wrong, It's Right podcast this year and revealed she suffered her first Bell's Palsy attack when she was aged 24.
Tulisa said she hid in the house during this time before she decided to get fillers to "try and balance it out". However, she was still suffering from discomfort due to the impact of Bell's palsy.
Fans were quick to agree with Rylan's positive message. One fan said: "Hope she sees how much she is loved after this series!!!" Another added "It’s horrific what people are like. So quick to have a go and everything and everyone they see on TV."
Other fans were quick to point out Tulisa's health struggles. One comment read: "It's bells palsy related. She had cosmetic surgery to even her features up, poor girl. She explained it on a recent podcast. Had a feeling she would be going on celeb. Best of luck to her"
A further comment read: "People are horrible. I’ve listened to a podcast of what she’s been through. Whatever happened to just being kind and compassionate without judgement?"
Speaking about entering the jungle, the singer said: "My number one mission is to be my true authentic self. If me being my authentic self connects with people in a mass way, then it must mean I’m doing something right in life."
“But I am not going to go looking for it. This isn’t a career move for me either. I will always go back to N-Dubz and this is a one-off experience.”
