SA TV star Akhumzi Jezile laid to rest

Cape Town – Family, friends and fans gathered at the Rhema Bible Church in Randburg to pay final tribute to Akhumzi Jezile.

The star died in a car accident near Queenstown in the Eastern Cape on Saturday morning. The same crash also claimed the lives of singer Siyasanga Kobese and actor Thobani Mseleni.

Viewers could tune in to the live broadcast of the the service on SABC1 (DStv 191). This comes after the public broadcaster was slammed for not airing his memorial service. (Read more here)
