Sabrina Carpenter's Keeping Things Short 'N' Sexy with Her Teeny-Tiny Hot Pants

Carpenter's disco-party ready look for 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' featured a sexy cardigan and a pair of short shorts

Sabrina Carpenter’s latest look isn't very demure — but it is cutesy (and tiny!).

The “Espresso” singer, 25, went on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote her new album, Short n’ Sweet, on Aug. 22, and wore an ensemble that was totally aligned with her new era.

For her appearance, Carpenter wore a baby blue sequin knit set that featured a low-cut cardigan and matching hot pants. She paired the head-turning two-piece with sky-high turquoise platforms for a monochromatic moment.

She also rocked her signature bombshell curls and retro, pin-up style curtain bangs. Her makeup featured blush, a rosy mauve lip and feathery lashes.

Carpenter then served another classic look to perform “Please Please Please.” The actress crooned an orchestra version of the radio hit in a black beaded halterneck dress that had a lipstick stain printed on the shoulder, just like the one on her album cover.

Carpenter wore a similar old Hollywood-style look for her headlining performance at Outside Lands on Aug. 10. She caught the spotlight from all angles in a glittery bodysuit covered in sequins and fringe that was styled by Jared Ellner, who sourced archival Roberto Cavalli and custom Ludovic de Saint Sernin for the star.

Short n’ Sweet is Carpenter’s six full-length album and is inspired by her “shortest” relationships — not her petite frame.

"I called it Short n' Sweet for multiple reasons. It was not because I'm vertically challenged," Carpenter said in an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. "I thought about some of these relationships and how some of them were the shortest I've ever had, and they affected me the most."
