TWO pilots have been sacked after allowing a Playboy playmate to fly their plane.

Victoria Xipolitakis was invited into the cockpit of the Embraer jet and briefly took the controls during the one-hour flight from Buenos Aires to Rosario.

The Argentinian airline learned about the incident when she posted video and photos of the event on Twitter.

Pilot Patricio Molina and co-pilot Federico Soaje have now both been fired, while the Miss Xipolitakis has been banned from flying with Austral Lineas Aereas for five years after

The model, who has posed for the Greek version of Playboy, appears alongside the two pilots in the cockpit in a series of six videos.

In the video one of the pilots tells Ms Xipolitakis she is going to pilot the plane during part of the take-off.

She responds: ‘You sure? Nothing could happen?’

The airline issued the following statement: 'Pilots Patricio Zocchi Molina and Federico Matias Soaje were removed from their activities on this day and will be dismissed as well as the rest of the staff with responsibility in this event.

'The passenger will be prevented from flying for five years on Aerolineas and Austral flights.’

According to Fox News, passengers aboard the flight are preparing to file a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against the airline for apparently endangering their lives.

Miss Xipolitakis has released an apology on Twitter, saying that she was sorry for the pain she had caused, and that it was not an example of her character.
