Sadiq Khan lays a wreath to mark the 16th anniversary of the 7/7 terror attacks in London

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has paid tribute to the victims of the July 7 bombings to mark the 16th anniversary of the terror attacks.The Mayor and other leaders placed wreaths at the Hyde Park memorial.The event took place at 08:50, coinciding with the time of the first terror attack on 7 July 2005. The wreath-laying ceremony is an annual event. Fifty-two people died and more than 700 were injured when a series of co-ordinated explosions hit three London Underground trains and a double-decker bus in 2005.
