Safe forced open in cash raid on Lark Lane bar
A Lark Lane bar was broken into by two men who forced their way into a safe and made off with cash. The incident occurred at 2.40pm on Monday, August 12 at Love and Rockets.
Now police have released CCTV images of two men who they believe may have information to assist them with their investigation. Merseyside Police said extensive enquiries were ongoing, and detectives would like to identify those pictured as they may have information to assist them.
One man is of average build, wearing a dark coloured hooded top and trainers, with a head torch, face mask and gloves. The second is also of average build, wearing a dark coloured tracksuit top, black gilet and gloves.
Detective Inspector Christopher Carlin said: “We understand access was gained via Hadassah Grove and two men forced open a safe. We are hoping that someone will recognise the men in the CCTV images and will come forward with information to help our investigation. If you recognise any of the men or were passing by and saw or captured anything let us know, and we will respond to all information to find those responsible and put them before the courts.”
