Shoppers are being urged to check their cupboards after several food products were pulled from various supermarkets. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) issues recalls for a range of reasons, including unlisted allergens in products or the discovery of plastic in the item.

When a product is recalled, no matter the cause, the FSA offers guidance on what actions should be taken if you've bought the product, along with comprehensive explanations of why the product has been removed from sale.

Here are the latest product recalls:

Sainsbury's

Sainsbury's is recalling by Sainsbury's Onion Rings because they contain milk, soya and wheat (gluten) which are not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to soya and/or an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, wheat or gluten and/or has coeliac disease.
