Sainsbury's to shut last-remaining North Staffordshire cafe
Supermarket giant Sainsbury's is shutting its last-remaining North Staffordshire cafe. The cafe in the Leek store is one of 61 to be closed.
It comes as replacement cafes are already operating in the Stoke and Newcastle-under-Lyme stores. The Biddulph branch has been left without a cafe ever since the previous cull.
Other changes include more than 3,000 job cuts and the closure of the last-remaining in-store patisserie, hot food and pizza counters.
