An Ayrshire supermarket was forced to close this morning due to unforeseen circumstances.

A "small electrical fault" kept Stewarton's Sainsbury's store closed on Thursday, August 22.

Customers were turned away for a number of hours as the issue was resolved with the store opening later in the morning.
