Congratulations are in order for Nicole Appleton, who has surprised everyone with the news that she has given birth to a baby daughter called Skipper.
The All Saints singer said she managed to keep news of her pregnancy so private that even her friends didn't know, revealing the news on her Instagram account today (March 12).
Nicole shared a picture of herself and her boyfriend Stephen Haines with baby Skipper, alongside a close-up snap of the newborn and one of her pregnant belly.
"After hiding my pregnancy for the last 9 months...which was SOOOOO difficult & keeping her a secret from all my friends...I can finally announce our incredible news!!" she wrote. "Our little girl 'Skipper Hudson Haines' has arrived Stephen & Gene are besotted!!! I'm SOOO HAPPY!!"
Fans and friends were quick to send their congratulations to the star, including sister Natalie and her husband Liam Howlett.
Nicole is already mother to a son with Liam Gallagher called Gene, who was born in 2001.
Nicole has famously been a member of All Saints alongside sister Natalie, Shaznay Lewis and Melanie Blatt.
The group released their last album back in 2018, and said at the time that they were enjoying their job more than ever.
"At the beginning, it was obviously a lot more successful – it was a bigger spectrum – but I think with that came a lot more pressure," Shaznay said. "I think the whole thing... we were constantly trying to keep up with it all.
"Whereas this time around it's more enjoyable because we're able to just take in everything and appreciate and enjoy it all."
