Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Daisy Jones & the Six actor Sam Claflin and Love Actually icon Bill Nighy have signed on to star in Prime Video's Lazarus, an original psychological thriller penned by best-selling novelist Harlan Coben and writer-producer Danny Brocklehurst.

Brocklehurt previously adapted Coben's Fool Me Once and The Stranger as hit limited series for Netflix.

The show follows a man who has disturbing and inexplicable experiences when he returns home after his father's suicide.

"Lazarus is a psychological thriller with an emotional spine. It's about fathers and sons, love and loss. We have attempted to bring our trademark wit and warmth as well as twists galore," said Brocklehurst in a statement Wednesday.

"This is the first collaboration the team at Quay Street, Harlan and myself have done with Amazon and we are delighted to be partnering with them."
