Yahoo News Samsung S9: The best deals on the high street as the latest iPhone rival goes on sale
Samsung's new Galaxy S9 and S9+ Android smartphone models go on sale in the UK today, marking the company's latest assault on the market dominance of Apple's iPhone.
The S9 will retail from £739 while the S9+ is priced at £869 - notably less than the new iPhone X.

Carphone Warehouse
The handset retailer is offering a free memory card with every S9 and S9+ purchase, doubling the phones' capacities.
The company's best deal for the S9 is on O2, which comes with 20GB of data and unlimited minutes and texts and is available for £49 a month for 24 months or £99 up front.
Its best offer for the S9+ is on EE, with 25GB of data and unlimited minutes and texts for £63 for a month for 24 months or £99.99 up front.
EE
EE's best deal for the S9 is part of its “Max” plan, with 60GB of data and unlimited messages and calls for £68 a month for 24 months or just £10 up front.
For the S9+, its “Essential” plan, gives you 4GB of data and unlimited minutes and texts and is available £63 a month for two years or £150.
O2
The network is offering the new Galaxies with an option to increase your data up to 90GB.
The S9, with 90GB of data and unlimited texts, is yours for £68 a month for 24 months or £49.99 while the S9+ with same data deal is available for £68 a month for two years or a £49.99 lump sum.
Sky Mobile
Sky's best offer for the new models is for the S9 at £33 per month with 500MB of data and unlimited calls and texts as part of its Swap24 plan.
Tesco Mobile
Tesco is offering the S9 with 20GB of date, 5,000 minutes and 5,000 texts for £47.99 a month for 24 months.
Three
A free year-long Netflix subscription is Three 's big enticement for Samsung customers. You can get the S9 with 100GB of data and unlimited minutes and texts for £57 a month for 24 months or £79.
The S9+ with the same benefits will cost you £62 a month for 24 months or £79 at the counter.
Virgin Mobile
Virgin will give you the S9 with 40GB of data and unlimited text and calls for £52 a month for 24 months or s9+ with the same for £60 a month on a two-year deal.
Vodafone
Like Three, Vodafone is throwing in a free subscription, offering two-year access to Spotify, Sky Sports Mobile or Now TV for Samsung customers.
Vodafone will give you the S9 with 32GB data and unlimited text and calls for £62 a month for 24 months or the S9+ with 60GB for £75 a month.
