Samuel L Jackson has hinted he may be filming reshoots for Spider-Man: Far From Home.

The actor posted a picture of himself on Instagram, holding what looked to be a Nicky Fury eyepatch, with the caption: "Just when you think you have a day off... this."

Jackson also included the Spider-Man: Far From Home hashtags, as well as one for The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard, which he's recently been filming.

Earlier this year Jackson appeared in Captain Marvel, but fans are unsure if he'll make an appearance in Avengers: Endgame after he was snapped in Infinity War (but then again, so was Spider-Man).

Spider-Man: Far from Home will begin only minutes after the conclusion of Avengers: Endgame, and will follow Peter Parker (Holland) and his classmates as they embark on a European trip.

While away in Europe, Peter is hoping to leave his Spider-Man persona behind for a bit, which isn't an easy task in the MCU. Soon he'll be called upon to use his powers to save the world again.

Alongside Holland and Jackson, the film also stars Zendaya as MJ, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill and and Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio.

Spider-Man: Far From Home will swing into cinemas on July 5, 2019, while Avengers: Endgame is released in cinemas in the UK and US on April 26, 2019.
