San Bernardino County Resident Brushes Ash Off Furniture as Apple Fire Grows

A resident in San Bernardino County, California, said ash from the growing Apple Fire was found on her porch on Monday, August 3.

The Apple Fire has burned 26,850 acres and prompted evacuations in San Bernardino and Riverside counties in Southern California, according to fire officials. The blaze was 7 percent contained and had destroyed five structures by Monday night.
