Some of the world’s most famous faces of popular culture, have been carved into six-tonnes of golden sand on Belgium’s Grand Ostend beach.

Using just water and sand, the masterful hands of 40 artists, carved the faces of their favorite stars.

The artists from 12 nationalities, have crafted a grand total of 150 giant sculptures, forming an impressive 10,000 square-metre gallery.

From special tributes to David Bowie and Prince, to iconic scenes from Jaws and The godfather, this epic sand show features the best of the best.
