Sandra Bullock Confirms That She’s Adopted A Daughter

Massive congratulations are in order for Sandra Bullock, who has announced that she has adopted her second child; a three-year-old girl.

It was widely speculated that the actress had welcomed another child in recent months, but now the star has confirmed the happy news and also revealed that the tot already has an inseparable bond with her brother Louis, who Sandra adopted back in 2010.

Speaking to People magazine, Sandra explained: “My family is blended and diverse, nutty, and loving and understanding. That’s a family.”

The little girl’s name is Laila, and the actress has been in the process of adopting her for three years, admitting that Louis played a huge role in making Laila feel at home.

She added: “Louis spearheaded this whole journey. I knew she was scared, and all I wanted was for her to know Louis and I weren’t going anywhere.”

Sandra and her two children appear on the front cover of the mag, with Laila facing away and Louis covering his face with a superhero mask, with the trio making an undoubtedly adorable family.

In the interview, Sandra said that the reason she decided to go public with her fostering and adoption of Laila was to draw awareness to the fact that there are currently 415,129 children in foster care in America, who all need loving families to give them a forever home.
