Santander issues message to customers whose account has 'at least £50 it in'

One lucky Santander customer looks poised to win an eye-watering £50,000 in a summer prize draw. Santander has launched a current account and savings prize draw where one lucky customer has the chance to win a £50,000 cash prize.

The offer is available to all personal Santander current account and savings customers and is running until 31 August 2024. Customers must have an open personal Santander current account and a Santander savings account with at least £50 it in on the 31 August 2024 to be automatically entered into the draw. The lucky winner will be informed in September.

Santander offers a range of current accounts including the Santander Edge Current Account which offers customers up to £20 a month cashback on essential bills and spending, a linked 6.00% AER easy access saver, and fee-free spending abroad, for a £3 monthly fee.

It also offers the Santander Edge Up Current Account which offers customers up to £30 a month cashback on essential bills and spending, as well as fee-free spending abroad, for a £5 monthly fee. There is also the Santander Everyday Current Account which offers customers a current account with no monthly fee, access to Santander Boosts for cashback, vouchers, and prize draws, as well as no fees for using Santander cash machines abroad.

Some of the eligible saving accounts include Fixed Rate ISAs which offer rates of up to 4.62% AER/tax-free depending on the term and Regular Saver which pays 5.00% AER/gross (fixed) for 12 months and Fixed Term Saver which offers rates of up to 4.00% AER/3.93% gross depending on the term.

More information on the £50,000 prize draw is available online and Santander’s full range of current accounts and saving accounts is available on the Santander website, the high street banking giant has gone on to explain.
