Sarah Jayne Dunn will never return to 'Hollyoaks'.

The 40-year-old actress was sacked from the soap because of her OnlyFans account and although bosses have left the door open for her return by not killing off her character of 25 years, Mandy Richardson, Dunn is believed to be finished with the show.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Sarah walked away from Hollyoaks when they handed her the ultimatum over OnlyFans and she has no desire to return.

“The door was left open for her should she ever want to come back as her character Mandy is a huge player in the soap.

“But now Sarah has had some breathing space following the row she has decided she definitely doesn’t want to go back.

“Her OnlyFans account is massive and she is in the top one percent of worldwide creators on the platform.

“Sarah's fans are loving it and so is she.

“The door is closed as far as she is concerned and she will not be going back. Bosses will now have to work out what they’re going to do.”

Sarah joined OnlyFans in October, but after a meeting with show bosses she departed the show.

A Channel 4 spokesperson explained at the time: "'Hollyoaks' is a youth-facing drama with many young viewers, who follow our cast very closely, both in the soap and outside of it.

"We take our responsibility to our young audience very seriously and therefore the show does not allow any 'Hollyoaks' cast members to be active on certain 18+ websites.

"We had hoped we could reach a resolution with Sarah that would allow her to remain in her role as Mandy, but we respect her choice to continue to produce content on OnlyFans.

"In the past four years since her return to the show, her legacy character has been an integral part of some our most important storylines and we will be very sad to see her go."

However, Sarah recently insisted her OnlyFans content is "no different" to the photos she's done for 'Hollyoaks' calendars over the years.

She said: "The site itself, you have to be over 18 to access, but my specific content is no different to the content I've put on Instagram, that I've done for men's magazines, for calendars, all of my career."
