Sarah Michelle Gellar has revealed that there is one Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode that she just won't watch.
And we reckon most Buffy fans are right there with her.
Mention the phrase 'The Body' to a Buffy fan and they'll instinctively reach for the nearest tissues as it's the season five episode where Buffy discovers her mum Joyce (Kristine Sutherland) dead on the couch.
What follows is one of Buffy's standout episodes and one of the best TV episodes about grief – and it's too raw for even Gellar to watch.
"'The Body' was exhausting, and I'm so proud of it, but I can't watch it. It's too hard for me. I'm an only child. It's just me and my mom. That was just a hard concept to grasp," she told EW as part of their extensive 20th anniversary coverage.
Gellar also recalled that she tried to talk Joss Whedon out of killing Joyce as she "was not happy about it", but it was too important for him to change.
"I lost my mother when I was 27 in a car accident, and the intent was to capture just that first day, the sort of trapped-in-amber, almost boring essence of grief," Whedon explained.
And it seems to have hit home with viewers to this day.
"Most fans end up talking to me about 'The Body'. There's so many people all over the world who lost a parent and weren't able to process, and it helped them. And that's amazing," Sutherland noted.
As part of the 20th anniversary, Gellar has also spoken about her least favourite season of Buffy, while Michelle Trachtenberg has hit back at "haters" who thought Dawn was annoying.
Most importantly though, the debate of Angel vs Spike has FINALLY been settled.
