Sarah Wasserman launches vegan Christmas menu ar Mildreds
Mildreds, the vegan restaurant at the heart of London, is bringing the magic of the holidays to its tables with a festive plant-based menu crafted by celebrated chef Sarah Wasserman. Sarah’s holiday menu features reimagined classics, hearty seasonal dishes, and indulgent desserts.
Sarah said: “No one should miss out during the holiday season, so we’ve been hard at work since summer crafting our best Christmas menu yet.
“This year, we’re offering two delicious roast options: a pine nut, cannellini, and sun-blushed tomato roast, and a creamy leek dauphinoise lattice. Both come with all the classic trimmings—golden roast potatoes, maple-glazed parsnips and carrots, a creamy sweet potato purée, spiced red cabbage, tender-stem broccoli, and a rich red wine gravy. And for an extra touch of indulgence, we’re including a side of truffled cauliflower cheese.

“To make this feast truly special, we’ve even developed a vegan Yorkshire pudding. And of course, we couldn’t forget dessert. To wrap up the meal, we’re serving a plant-based yule log made with light chocolate sponge, tangy sour cherries, and a rich chocolate ganache, served with whipped Chantilly cream. We can’t wait for you to enjoy this festive feast with us—it’s our way of making sure everyone is invited to the party.”
The Christmas menu at Mildreds, available as a two-course meal for £35 or three courses for £44, is available from November 20 to December 24 from 12pm.
The Christmas menu is available at all Mildreds restaurants, Soho, Covent Garden, Victoria, Camden, Kings Cross and Dalston.
Guests can start with small plates like the Ras el Hanout Cauliflower with saffron tahini yogurt and pistachio dukkah, or the Arancini Rosso with smoked paprika mushroom risotto, paired with a festive garlic aioli.
The main course stars—the Creamy Leek Dauphinoise Lattice and Toasted Pine Nut Cannellini Loaf—come with traditional, trimmings and vegan Yorkshire pudding. Desserts include Black Forest Yule Log and White Chocolate Tiramisu.
