Some very brave celebrities are going to put themselves through the SAS: Who Dares Wins boot camp. Better them than us!
Don’t despair #SASWhoDaresWins fans! It'll be back later this year for the very first celebrity @SU2C special, where @dev_101, @v_pendleton and @CamillaThurlow are just some of the celebs at the mercy of @antmiddleton, @jason_carl_fox, @billingham229b and @ollie_ollerton pic.twitter.com/vbyBaIFBHn- Channel 4 (@Channel4) February 10, 2019
A few of the famous recruits who'll be "at the mercy" of former soldier Ant Middleton have been announced, including former Love Island star Camilla Thurlow.
The humanitarian was recently likened to the nation's modern-day Princess Diana in her ITVBe special, but she'll need to be more like Rambo if she hopes to get through the SAS: Who Dares Wins boot camp.
Also enlisting will be Olympian and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Victoria Pendleton as well as Radio 1 DJ Dev, plus more stars to be revealed as transmission nears.
Thurlow and Pendleton joining the show follows a recent change to the format to allow women to take part for the very first time in the most recent series, which finished off on Sunday (February 10).
Hopefully the celebs will get some better pampering than the civilian SAS recruits after the series ends. Finalist Vicki Anstey has admitted that the post-show accommodations weren't "exactly luxurious".
