Sassy Cat Swipes at German Shepherd

A sassy six-year-old cat was less than thrilled when Maverick, a four-year-old German Shepherd, got up to readjust on a couch in Oak Bay, New Brunswick.

Shane Firth recorded this video and posted it to YouTube on November 18. Firth told Storyful the two usually get along, “but Fisher wasn’t sharing the couch.”

The video shows the German Shepherd sit up and turn around when the cat takes a swipe at him. The dog can be heard yelping then growling at the cat, who starts licking its paw like nothing happened. Credit: Shane Firth via Storyful
