Satellite Imagery Captures 'Atmospheric River Events' Affecting California

A satellite captured timelapse imagery of a storm system hitting the west coast of the United States between January 6 and January 10, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

This footage, released by NOAA, shows “atmospheric river events” bringing relentless rain and flash flooding to much of the west coast.
