Saturday Night Takeaway 2018: Ant and Dec cause chaos as they prank Amanda Holden during presenting job

Ant and Dec caused chaos as they pranked an unsuspecting Amanda Holden while she tried to present her new homeware range on QVC.

In scenes to be aired in this weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Takeaway, Donnelly and McPartlin arrange for a series of mishaps to occur during the segment.

The pair litter the set with dirty cups and banana skins and glue a drawer that Holden has to open during the feature shut.

They also instruct a member of the crew to call their Britain’s Got Talent colleague ‘Mandy Pandy’ and invade the set just as she’s wrapping up hosting.

In first-look images, Holden can be seen looking bemused as she discovers the dirty cups on the set.

The prank is part of Ant and Dec’s regular Saturday Night Takeaway feature which sees them play tricks on their celebrity pals.

In previous series they managed to convince Jamie Oliver that a recently-installed chandelier had fallen on a member of staff in one of his restaurants.

Saturday Night Takeaway returns Saturday, February 24 at 7pm on ITV.
