Cider fans will have plenty of choice on offer with the organisers saying their will be loads of different flavours on offer, as well as craft beer, wine and cocktails for visitors who aren't quite so keen on only cider. Sausage lovers will also be spoiled for choice, with more than 12 different flavours ranging from maple and chilli to cheese sausages. There will even be options for vegetarian visitors who don't want to miss out.
The festival will feature entertainment and eating competitions, such as a red hot chilli peppers eating competition and in previous events they've even seen a world record attempt for sausage eating. There will also be live music from tribute acts and local bands.
Top bands like Scouting for Girls have performed live in previous years, plus there has been tributes of Abba, Young Elton, The Brightside Killers, Gerry Cinnamon and Sham Fender.
Lee Fudge, who is the marketing manager for Sausage and Cider Festival, said: “This is a feel-good event with great music from headliners still to be announced and a huge variety of sausage and cider flavours.”
