Call of Duty cashback

You can get £15 off a purchase at retailer Game by signing up to Top Cashback. The deal runs until April 9 and is just in time for those looking to snap up the new Call of Duty Black Ops 4 on pre-order, bringing the price down to just £39.99.

Lenders’ lure

Mortgage lenders are raising the levels of cash handouts they give to new customers.

For instance, Halifax is offering £750 cashback to first-time buyers, home movers and those who switch from another lender as long as they complete on a qualifying mortgage before April 29.

Virgin offers up to £500 for first-time buyers and £300 to switchers and remortgagers, while there’s £250 up for grabs at NatWest and Yorkshire building society.

But check rates and charges to assess the total cost compared with loans without cashbacks.
