Scandinavian hypermarket Søstrene Grene announce opening date in Edinburgh city centre
Danish homeware retailer Søstrene Grene has revealed its opening date for a new Edinburgh store.
The Scandi lifestyle brand is set to open its outlet on 29 November within Waverley Market - making it the first Edinburgh store.
Guests are set to be welcomed in for the grand opening adding to existing locations in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Dundee.

To celebrate the Grand Opening, the first 150 customers through the doors will receive a voucher for a free large, tufted rug worth over £60, along with a canvas tote bag filled with Søstrene Grene goodies.
A post on Facebook reads: "Søstrene Grene opens first store in Edinburgh on 29 November. Anna and Clara are delighted to announce the opening of a new store at Waverley Market.

"The sisters are very much looking forward to the opening day, where they will invite you in for a whole new store experience in the wonderful world of Anna and Clara. Who are you bringing with you to the grand opening?"
Currently expanding through the UK, they hope to open 50 stores in the country by 2027. Søstrene Grene sells soft furnishings, kitchen products, furniture, gifts, crafts and children's toys.

UK Joint Venture Partners, Norma Jacob and Richard Power, run Søstrene Grene stores across Northern Ireland, Southern England and Scotland.
Norma Jacob comments: “We have high aspirations for the launch of our new Livingston store. All our Scottish openings so far have been highly anticipated and seen brilliant local responses, so we’re hopeful this next opening will be no different.”
