Gogglebox and I'm a Celebrity funny-person Scarlett Moffatt could be getting her own prime-time TV show after a successful appearance on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.

According to The Sun, Scarlett filmed a pilot - in front of a live audience at Pinewood Studios - for Channel 4 programme The Comedy Project. The show reportedly saw Scarlett in several sketches alongside other entertainers.

However, a spokesperson for C4 poured cold water on the speculation, telling Digital Spy: "We have already announced we are working on ideas with Scarlett although this is not one of them."

The Comedy Project's promo document apparently read: "They'll have no idea what is going to happen from one moment to the next.

"With costume changes at each turn, in one instant they could be a co-anchor in our news show and in the next, a contestant on a baking show, or even giving a speech to the Prime Minister in the Houses of Parliament."

But never fear, Scarlett looks destined for big TV roles for some time to come...

She made her first appearance on Saturday Night Takeaway on Saturday (February 25), where she was tasked with rounding up audience members by helicopter.

And she's been lined up to host a revival of classic dating show Streetmate, originally hosted by Davina McCall from 1998 to 2001.

Sadly for fans of Gogglebox, however, Scarlett and her family won't be returning to the show this series, though she hasn't ruled out a return in the future.
