'Scary!' Toddlers Freak Out at Dinosaur Exhibit in Utah

They say you should never meet your heroes, and two toddlers learned this lesson the hard way while visiting a recent dinosaur exhibition at a Utah mall.

Footage by Kaitlin Harris shows her two-year-old sons Seth and Miles freaking out at the sight of the life-size animatronics at Provo Towne Centre’s Jurassic Empire Drive-Thru Experience on June 18 — despite being what she calls “dinosaur-obsessed.”

Harris told Storyful that it was their first time at the exhibit, and that they said the experience was “so scary.”

“They didn’t want to be there,” Harris said, adding that Seth and Miles were briefly put off the prehistoric reptiles following the exhibit, but “now they are back to loving and being obsessed with dinosaurs.”

She joked in an Instagram post that she will be adding the ordeal to the “parent fail list.” Credit: Kaitlin Harris via Storyful
