Schalke and Porto could well be one of the unsung glamour ties this evening as the Bundesliga runners-up host the Portuguese champions.

Domenico Tedesco's Schalke were only bettered by Bundesliga behemoths Bayern Munich last season, and will be confident after receiving a highly favourable group draw.

Group D plays home to the Germans, Porto, Galatasaray and Lokomotiv Moscow, leaving things wide open for any of the four teams to make a clear run at the knockouts and stand a chance of a favourable last-16 tie.
