Schoolboys in hospital with serious injuries after crash

Two schoolboys suffered serious injuries after a crash.

Emergency services were called Greenwood Crescent in Warrington at around 5.44pm on Sunday, June 16. It followed a report of a crash involving a car and motorbike.

The rider of a motorbike, a 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The pillion passenger, a 15-year-old boy was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.

They both remain in hospital. A 37-year-old man was arrested and remains in custody at this time, Cheshire Police said. Anyone who witnessed the crash and could help the investigation should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via www.cheshire.police.uk//tell-us quoting IML 1848907.
