Two teenage boys were seriously injured after being hit by a van. Officers were called to Pepper Street in Christleton, near Chester, at around 11.45am on Tuesday, September 3.
It followed a report of a crash between two teenage boys aged 13 and 15 and a blue Volkswagen Transporter panel van. The boys were both treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Aintree Hospital.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said one of the boys suffered "possibly life-changing injuries" and remains in Aintree Hospital. The other teenager has been discharged and the 59-year-old driver of the van was uninjured.
