Schoolgirl, 14, stabbed in the neck in Ilford knife attack

A 14-year-old girl has been stabbed in the neck during a vicious streetfight in a residential street in east London.

Police were called to reports of a stabbing in Eynsford Road, near Green Lane, Ilford at 3pm on Monday.

They found a teenage girl with a laceration to her neck before she was rushed to hospital.

A spokesman from the Metropolitan Police said: “Officers attended with LAS and found a 14-year-old suffering from a laceration to her neck.

“Her condition at this time is not thought to be life-threatening.”

Officers arrested another female on suspicion of GBH with intent and have taken her into custody.

The Met said that a crime scene is in place and enquiries are ongoing.
