With the race to Germany well underway, the teams from Aberdeen, Peterhead and Paisley are getting closer to Munich week by week.

And in Tuesday's latest episode, there were some surprise guests on the show offering their support to the six competitors as they raced through London.

Video messages from John McGinn, Ryan Christie and Angus Gunn were shown to the pairs as they took the train to London, with the final guest awaiting them at their eventual destination - Wembley Stadium.

With no cash or phones, Chris and Ewan won the first leg by reaching the famous turf at Hampden first, with the Peterhead pair leading The Staggers of Paisley and The Wallaces of Aberdeen.

This time, they had to set off from Euston Station and find the Auld Hag, the London home of Scottish food and drink, to find three cans of Tennent’s and another riddle to test their Scottish football knowledge, and point them in the direction of the next checkpoint.

Chris and Ewan enjoyed the luxury of the limo-bike while the others had to settle for the tube, with the team's sense of direction tested as they attempt to locate Wembley to meet Scotland’s right back Stephen O’Donnell, AKA SOD.

The first team to arrive bag themselves extra T-minus time and the opportunity to take on O’Donnell at his own game, SOD’s BAW, a challenge to keep the ball off him for more than 10 seconds, something Jack Grealish failed to do at Euro 2021.

The checkpoint winners also cash in on a luxurious train journey to Paris, the next stop on the road to Germany, while the others had to settle for the gruelling night bus.

And after dashing through the streets of London and whizzing around the capital on the tube, it would be the Aberdeen duo Beth and William Wallace to take the second leg.

The pair were even rewarded with a healthy dose of T-minus time, with five points awarded for meeting SOD first and extra three granted when Beth won the SOD's BAW challenge.

Hazel Alexander, Senior Brand Manager at Tennent’s, said: "The race is now officially on and the teams are making their way through London on the second leg in episode two.

"We’re loving watching how they use their Scottish charm and wealth of football knowledge to navigate to each checkpoint. We can’t wait to see who takes the lead and gets to Germany first!"
