Scots can bag £40 flights to this unbelievable sun-soaked beach location with 24C temps in November
There's no escaping it. In just a few short weeks, the UK clocks will go back by an hour, and we'll all be plunged into cold, windy darkness once again.
However, there's still time to escape the impending Scottish winter weather, and book yourself a cheeky wee getaway to sunnier climes for less than the price of a return train ticket from Edinburgh to Inverness.
A search of the travel site Skyscanner shows that it will cost just £40 for return Ryanair flights from Edinburgh Airport to Agadir in Morocco on selected dates next month.

In fact, they're the cheapest flights from Edinburgh Airport to any overseas destination throughout November 2024.
Agadir is a beautiful, sun-soaked, historic city on Morocco’s southern Atlantic coast, in the foothills of the Anti-Atlas Mountains.
The popular destination is famous for its wide sandy crescent beach and seaside promenade packed with vibrant cafes, restaurants and bars.
TripAdvisor describe Agadir as having a "decidedly Western-resort feel, amplified by the large number of Europeans who flock here in the winter months."
As well as relaxing on the beach, there are a wealth of other attractions in the fun-packed, friendly Moroccan town.
You can browse the famous Souk El Had d'Agadir, one of the largest markets in Morocco with over 6000 shops and stalls selling everything from spices and fruit to furniture and clothing.
Alternatively you can chill out with a coffee in the scenic Médina d'Agadir. A médina is an old, walled section of a North African town. Sadly, Agadir's old town was destroyed by an earthquake in 1960, but this faithful representation was created in 1992 by Sicilian master decorator Beato Salvatore.
Agadir is also jam-packed with amazing places to eat. Restaurant Lounge Agadir Lov is particularly well-rated by visitors. It serves traditional Moroccan food, lush cocktails and also puts on mesmerising live entertainment including belly dancing and fire-eating.
If you feel like exploring further afield, a trip to the nearby surfer's paradise of Taghazout is a must. Like Agadir, this cute fishing village also has a glorious beach, but it also is famous for its huge waves and laid-back air with cafes and surf shops lining the main street.
And of course, the information you've all been waiting for: the temperature in Agadir in November can soar as high as 24C, which in Scotland would definitely qualify as taps aff weather. What's more, In November, the average sea temperature in Agadir, Morocco is like a warm bath, around 20–21C. You'll feel like its summer again.
