Scots cops hunt thugs 'wearing hi-vis vests' after daytime street attack
An investigation is underway after a man was assaulted and robbed by two men wearing hi-vis vests in a broad daylight attack on a Scots street. The 30-year-old was targeted in Bathgate, West Lothian, on Friday November 22.
Police say it happened on a path between Mansfield Street and North Bridge Street. The injured male was taken to St Johns Hospital and released after treatment.
The incident was reported to officers at around 12.45pm, shortly after it took place. Police Scotland has appealed to the public for information in a bid to track down the thugs responsible.

The first suspect is described as "Asian" while the second is described as "Polish" and is said to be around 35 years of age and both are said to have been wearing hi-vis vests.
Detective Constable Emma Thaker said: "Enquiries are continuing and officers are studying CCTV from in and around the local area to establish more information on the circumstances surrounding this incident and trace the two men responsible.
"I would ask anyone who was in the area between 12pm and 12.45pm on Friday, who witnessed anything suspicious or has any information that may assist this investigation to contact us.
"I would also ask any drivers with dash-cam to please review their footage and get in touch if it holds anything relevant." Information should be passed to 101 quoting reference number 1451 of 22 November, 2024.
