Scots cops release image of man as part of probe into city street robbery

Police officers have released an image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with a street robbery. The incident happened in Glasgow earlier this year.

The force said the man in question "may be able to assist with enquiries". Officers are trying to solve the crime, which took place at around 9.15pm in the city's Hope Street.

The man, who is described as being aged between 25 and 30-years-old, is believed to be vital in solving the Wednesday, June 5, 2024 incident.

He is described as having dark hair and wearing a black gilet, with a grey top underneath, and black shorts at the time of the incident in question.

The man in the image - or anyone who knows him or recognises him - is asked to get in touch with Police Scotland by contacting 101 quoting reference 3818 of 5 June, 2024.
