Scots restaurant in hunt for three women and child after 'dine and dash'
A restaurant in East Lothian is searching for a group of diners who left without paying for their meals.
Ravelston House in Musselburgh said the group visited the restaurant - each having starters, mains and drinks - on Wednesday, September 18. As reported by Edinburgh Live, bosses claim they then left "one by one" while staff were distracted.
Staff were hoping the women would return to rectify the mistake, but this never happened - and they've now asked the group to "get in touch before they post CCTV and contact police".

In a post on Facebook, bosses at Ravelston House Musselburgh wrote: "Unfortunately we had a dine and dash. 12.30pm on September 18 (last Wednesday) we had three ladies and a child come into our restaurant and ordered starters, mains and drinks all finished and then one by one left the restaurant while our staff were distracted by other customers. We have these people very clearly on CCTV and even their car reg which was in our car park.
"Everyone can make mistakes and we gave them the benefit of the doubt and though they might realise they had not paid the £70 bill and come back to pay over the weekend. This never happened so we are posting on here to hopefully remind them. If the ladies do not get in touch we will post the CCTV on line and contact the police."
Locals were quick to comment with anger towards the group. One resident said: "Disgusting that people think this is acceptable to do this! My mum and friends accidentally did this in a pub many years ago. When they realised that none of them paid - they called the pub right away to apologise and went straight back after work to pay in full."
