Scott Speedman explains how he gets in trouble on Grey's Anatomy set
Returning Grey's Anatomy star Scott Speedman has revealed why he gets in trouble on the show's set.
Speedman is reprising his role as Dr. Nick Marsh in the medical drama this season, where viewers will see him back in the operating theatre.
During an appearance on Sirius XM's The Spotlight with Jessica Shaw, Speedman revealed he sometimes gets corrected by the crew during surgery scenes.
"There's one lady there who just yells at me every time I'm doing a surgery scene, which I love," he recalled. "It's really fun. Cause you screw it up, ya know, she's on you, but it's pretty fun doing that."

He remained light-hearted while describing his faulty surgery technique, as he praised Grey's Anatomy consultants for how seriously they take medical depictions in the show.
"It's just how I'm holding something, or I'm not doing something right, or [the crew member] told me to do something..." he explained. "She comes over and, like, hits your hand and is like, 'You're not doing that right'.
"You know, you're trying to do dialogue, which you have no idea what you’re talking about, and you're trying to do it with a serious face."
It was announced back in August that Speedman would appear in at least five episodes of Grey's Anatomy season 21 to revisit his character Nick's romance with Dr Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo).

Pompeo has also increased her on-camera appearances in the new episodes, after initially leaving Grey's Anatomy as a full-time cast member following its 19th season. She has continued to narrate the show even throughout her on-screen hiatus.
Series showrunner Meg Marinis recently commented on another major change for Grey's Anatomy — the ability to show more "steamy" sex scenes with its move to 10pm.
"This is our first year at 10 pm," she told The Hollywood Reporter. "I mean, I'll push whatever boundaries they'll let me push. But I'll say, the show will still be the show."
Grey's Anatomy season 21 airs on Thursdays at 10pm ET on ABC in the US. Previous seasons are streaming on Disney+ in the UK.
