Scottish The Chase contestant jokes 'she would fence English out' with prize money
A Scottish contestant on The Chase had her fellow quizzers in stitches after revealing what she would do with her winnings.
On Wednesday (October 23), Karen from Dumfries went head to head with chaser Darragh Ennis, known as The Menace after revealing what she plans to spend the money on if she wins.
Ahead of the cash builder, she told host Bradley Walsh she needed a new fence that spans 'several hundred meters' for the huge garden back home.

A shocked Bradley went on to ask: "What? Are you trying to fence off Dumfries?"
To which Karen replied: "The English!"
"Hadrian's Fence!" Bradley quipped back.
After only banking £4,000 on the cash builder, Karen was then sadly knocked out of the game on the fifth question against The Menace.
She gracefully walked off the stage as Bradley wished his best to everyone in the Scottish town.
Fellow contestant Sam was also beaten by the chaser and Andy and Ben were left at the final round. However, Darragh successfully beat them and the team went home with nothing.
Fans of the show quickly took to X, claiming the answers were easier for the Irish neuroscientist.
One said: "So the contestants are asked for the full name of people given as answers but the chaser gets away with a simple 'Napoleon' Bent as a nine bob note."
Another commented: "Easy questions for the chaser incoming."
