Brace yourselves, Geordie Shore fans, because it looks like Scotty T and Marty McKenna may have been axed from the outrageous realty show... mid-series.

Marnie and the rest of the Geordie lot said goodbye to the real world to jet off to a far-flung location two days ago, but there are two cast regulars who have continued to be suspiciously active on social media.

Although filming is now under way for the latest series, both Scotty and Marty have been talking to fans over on Twitter, suggesting they're not with the rest of the cast. *strokes chin*

A bit of online sleuthing reveals that Marty last tweeted yesterday (May 19), the same day as Scotty – who was asking fans what they thought of the Conservative Party's manifesto. Obviously.

Digital Spy has reached out to Geordie Shore, who declined to comment.

If the boys have been kicked out of toon, then it looks like Scotty is going to have some words-eating to do, as earlier this month he told Digital Spy that the show will never replace him.

Addressing previous rumours that he'd been axed, Scotty said: "Do you know what it is? There is nobody else in the world like us.

"They've been trying to replace us for years but they never will. They can try but they will never find someone like me.

"You know why? Because I am the only true radgie. I am the number one radgie!"

(But hey, maybe not anymore, pet.)

Geordie Shore airs on MTV, Tuesdays at 10pm.
