Scuba Diver Enjoys 'Special Day' With Hammerhead Sharks

A Sydney scuba diver got up close and personal with a large school of hammerhead sharks during a dive to Fish Rock Cave, off the coast of South West Rocks, New South Wales, on January 14.

Yuan Tu He captured footage of her experience, which she said shows about 200 hammerhead sharks swimming above her.

“They just stopped on top of us, like hundreds of sharks above your head within 10 metres,” she told the ABC.

“It was a very dramatic kind of experience because when they arrived all the fishes came in, the little ones, so many of them, everything is coming towards you.” Credit: Yuan Tu He via Storyful
