Seagull Surfs Waves Off Patagonia on Back of Southern Right Whale

A whale swimming through the surf off the coast of Argentina became an involuntary surfboard for a seagull who landed on its back and rode with it through the surf, video shared to Instagram shows.

Leandro Andreas Hihn said he captured the footage during a whale-watching tour on August 30 in Puerto Madryn, Chubet, a province in the Patagonia region of Argentina.
